How to get to IWT

IWT is located on the 18th and 19th floors of the Ellipse building at Koning Albert II-laan 35, PO Box 16, 1030 Brussels, within a stone's throw of Brussel-Noord (Brussels North) railway station (2 min walk).

Getting to IWT by car

  • If you are coming from the city center or Brussels' small ring
    (tunnel exit: Roger or Sainctlette), take the Koning Albert II-laan towards Noordstation. Once you have gone through the roundabout serving the railway station, the Ellipse building is the second building on your right.
  • If you are coming from the north of Brussels (A12, E19, Vilvoorde, etc.)
    follow the canal on the left after the Van Praet bridge. On the Willebroekkaai, turn left into Simon Bolivarlaan and drive up to the roundabout, and then take a left towards Noordstation. The Ellipse building is the second building on your right.

The ellipse building has an underground car park for visitors (level -3), which is located 50 meters past the building entrance, at the end of Koning Albert II-laan, on your right.
At the barrier at the car park entrance, you call out your name, number plate and the person with whom you have an appointment. Elevators A12 and A13 will take you to the information desk.
On-the-street parking has to be paid for (parking meter).

Getting to IWT by public transport

  • By train

    Take the train to Brussel-Noord and leave the station through te main entrance. Walk up to the roundabout and turn right. You are now in the Koning Albert II-laan. The second building on your right is the Ellipse building, Koning Albert II-laan 35. You present yourself at the information desk and ask for the person with whom you have an appointment. You will the be guided to the 18th floor.

  • By metro (rapid transit) or bus

    The Rogier or Yser metro stops are the closest.

The easiest way to get to the Ellipse building is by train.
